The prophet’s charge and the people’s choice
Read Ezekiel 3:4, 10–11, 27 and mark each time you see the word hear. Forbear can mean “to hold back from doing something”. Then decide where each phrase belongs.
“speak with my words unto them”
Ezekiel 3:4
“all my words that I shall speak unto thee receive in thine heart”
Ezekiel 3:10
“tell them, Thus saith the Lord God”
Ezekiel 3:11
“whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear”
Ezekiel 3:11
“He that heareth, let him hear”
Ezekiel 3:27
Decide where each phrase belongs. You can change any answer.
